Weather Modification Expected to Overcome High Rainfall in Jakarta

Jakarta Provincial Government remains continuing the effort to anticipate extreme weather that is predicted to happen on Tuesday (3/11) tomorrow. One of the ways is by modifying the weather.

Hopefully tomorrow will be the same

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung Wibowo said today's rainfall intensity in Jakarta should be high. Thanks to the weather modification operation that was conducted yesterday that moved the rain on the sea.

Pramono: Criticism is a Healthy Dose of Medicine

"Hopefully tomorrow will be the same," he said, after conducting Safari Ramadan program, at At Taubah Mosque, Jalan Pertanian Selatan, Kebon Singkong Number 14, RT 01/03 Klender, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Monday (3/10).

Pramono added that his side has cooperated with BMKG and BNPB Heads to conduct the weather modification operation. Then Jakarta Water Resources Agency Head also monitors the activity.

Hopefully the weather modification operation will give maximum result to avoid high rainfall that is predicted to occur on March 10, 11, and 12, 2025.

"If we can handle the situation tomorrow, there should be no big flood in Jakarta, Bekasi, Tangerang and other areas," Pramono stated.
